This package combines the jungle trip adventure to Tortuguero Canals with the majestic of the active Arenal Volcano and the mystical Cloud Forest in Monteverde Biological Reserve.

Day 01: San Jose

Upon your arrival to the International Airport, our driver will pick you up and transfer you to Presidente hotel. A four-star, 100-room hotel in the heart of San José downtown, Costa Rica, Presidente hotel is located on the corner of the Central Avenue Pedestrian Boulevard and Seventh Street, just 20 minutes from Costa Rica International Airport (SJO). Guests staying at the Hotel Presidente will be gratified by its ideal location, only a few blocks from the most important cultural and historical landmarks in San Jose city: National Theatre, and the Gold Museum, Overnight at Presidente hotel.

Day 02: San Jose/ Tortuguero National Park

Tour to Tortuguero National Park. Typical breakfast included on the way, visit  to a banana plantation. Boat transfer to your lodge. Lunch. In the afternoon visit to Tortuguero town and the small museum of the Caribbean Conservation Corporation. Dinner. Overnight at Evergreen Lodge. Evergreen Lodge is strategically located only 5 minutes away from the extraordinary Tortuguero National Park, and right across the main "canal" facing the town of Tortuguero. Surrounded by a network of very scenic canals, this is considered one of the most exotic regions of the world, characterized by its rich in flora and fauna. Optional: Night tour to see the turtles nesting (from July to October) $30.00 per person.

Day 03: Tortuguero National Park

Early in the morning boat ride to the National Park, hidden canals and lagoons around the park. Breakfast. Hiking in the area. Lunch. Free afternoon to enjoy the area. Dinner. Overnight at Evergreen Lodge.

Day 04: Tortuguero National Park/ Arenal

Breakfast.  Departure to Guapiles to continue to  Arenal Volcano area. Lunch at El Ceibo restaurant. Transfer with the shuttle bus to Arenal Area.  The very active Arenal Volcano frequently emits sounds of violent explosions, attended by clouds of gray, brown, and orange gases.  Dinner.  Overnight at Arenal Paraíso Hotel, which offers spectacular views of  the volcano, from the private balcony, all the rooms have view to the volcano, the hotel offers restaurant, spa, trails, and thermal pools surrounded by tropical gardens.

 

Day 05: Arenal

Breakfast . Free morning. In the afternoon visit to Arenal Volcano National Park and Tabacón hot springs, where the hot springs flow from the veins of the splendorous and active Arenal Volcano. Enjoy this natural wonder of Costa Rica and soothing feeling in any of mineral pools. Buffet dinner. Overnight at Arenal  Paraíso Hotel.

Day 06: Arenal/ Monteverde Cloud Forest

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Monteverde Cloud Forest, where you may spot birds such as the silvery-throated jay, spangled-checked tanager, black-thighed grosbeak, and the yellow-throated finch. Free afternoon, we recommend you to visit Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, one of the richest and most diverse tropical cloud forests in the world. Dinner. Overnight at the Trapp Family Lodge. The nearest hotel to the famous Monteverde Cloud forest Reserve, the Trapp Family Lodge offers the feeling of being in the middle of a charming cloud forest. The mountain suites have a spectacular view to the Monteverde Reserve.

Day 07: Monteverde Cloud Forest

After a delicious early morning breakfast, you will be taken to Selvatura walkways; it’s an unforgettable experience, the excitement of looking to one side and seeing the tops of the trees and at the same time feel the sensation of walking among the clouds. Selvatura walkways is a unique system of suspension bridges that zigzag through deep canyons at the level of the treetops. Free afternoon. Dinner.  Overnight at Trapp Family Lodge.

 
Day 08: Monteverde Cloud Forest/ San Jose

Enjoy breakfast, then you will be transferred from Monteverde to San José. Overnight at Presidente Hotel

Day 09: San Jose/ Flight home

Breakfast and private transfer to the airport to your flight back home.
