Itinerary # 2:(10D/09N) San Jose-Arenal-Monteverde-Esterillos Beach -San Jose

Day 01: San Jose

At your arrival to the International Airport, our driver will be waiting for you and transfer you to Country Inn and Suites hotel. This beautiful hotel is located 10 minutes from the International Airport, the hotel offers swimming pool, tropical gardens, gym, internet and comfortable room with private bathroom, hot water, tv cable, and air conditioning. Overnight at Country Inn and Suites hotel.

Day 02: San Jose/ Arenal

Enjoy a delicious breakfast. Pick up a 4X4 car at your hotel, to continue to Arenal Volcano area. Overnight at Campo Verde hotel, which offers 10 volcano view cabins spread in a green property, and surrounded by exciting natural activities. Whether you are looking for an outdoor adventure or shopping and relaxing at a spa and hot springs, the Arenal Volcano has plenty to offer! Best of all, it is easy to travel, and also easy to enjoy natural attractions.

Day 03: Arenal/ Ecotermales Hot Springs

Breakfast, free morning to enjoy the area, we recommend you to visit Arenal Volcano National Park and La Fortuna Waterfall. In the afternoon visit to Ecotermales Hot Springs, Eco Termales Hot Springs in Arenal Costa Rica is a sanctuary of nature and beauty that has been the life work of the Hidalgo family. The smallest of the Arenal Hot Springs, Eco termales is geared toward privacy and relaxation and does not accept more than 100 visitors at a time. Visitors are invited to enjoy the beautiful environment as guests of the Hidalgo family not as walk in tourists. Dinner at Ecotermales. Overnight at Campo Verde Hotel.

Day 04: Arenal/ Monteverde

Breakfast, departure to Monteverde, our premier cloud forest where you can observe a lot of birds and mammals. Overnight at Cabañas Los Pinos. Hotel Cabañas Los Pinos is located in a surprising eco-touristic destiny, between the Reserve of Santa Elena and Monteverde. The location of the hotel provides easy access for all the activities around the area, such as walks inside the forest, horseback rides, canopy tours, hanging bridges, the frog pond, butterfly gardens and many others. You will have the opportunity to explore the beautiful flora and fauna this unique and amazing cloud forest offers.

Dia 05: Monteverde/ One day tour at Selvatura Park

In the morning we will take you to Selvatura Park, to enjoy a Full Day Package in the park. If you are an adventurer, want to be part of the Cloud Forest and seek learning about wildlife for personal growth, you must visit these activities: - Herpetarium, more than 30 species of snakes, frogs, lizards and geckos! - Butterfly Garden, 29,000 square feet of gardens exclusive for over 20 species of butterflies. - Hummingbird Garden, stand amidst more than 20 species of hummingbirds! A true spectacle and awe-inspiring sensation! - World's third largest Insect Museum! View some of the world's most amazing species of insects, enjoy the canopy tours one of the safest extreme adventures in Costa Rica!

Our Canopy Tour guides start by harnessing you with all the appropriate equipment after which they will lecture you on all the safety procedures to enjoy this amazing adventure with our "Safety First" motto. You will then be flying through 15 cables and 18 platforms with an optional Tarzan Swing at the end of the adventure. Selvatura Park is one of the longest Canopy Tours in Costa Rica. Also it is the only canopy tour located inside the Monteverde Cloud Forest.
The tour usually takes between 2.5 and 3 hours and can be done by adventurers from ages 4 and older. It is a safe adventure for everyone although restrictions may apply. Then enjoy Selvatura's Tree Top Walkways which consist of a 1.9 mile (approximately 3 kilometer) trail that crosses through the Monteverde Cloud Forest. Here visitors will walk on eight different bridges with various lengths ranging between 150 feet ( 50 meters ) up to 510 feet ( 170 meters ) and altitudes ranging between 36 feet ( 12 meters ) up to 180 feet ( 60 meters ). Each bridge has a width of five feet, the widest bridges in Costa Rica, and also a capacity of up to 80 people per bridge making them both the longest and strongest bridge systems in the Monteverde Cloud Forest. The Tree Top Walkways are suitable for people of all ages. The duration of the hike usually takes between 1.5 and 2 hours. Lunch included. Overnight at Cabañas Los Pinos.

Day 06: Monteverde/ Esterillos Beach

In the morning, departure to Esterillos beach. Overnight at Monteverrey del Mar Hotel, Overlooking the beautiful, private and isolated beaches of Esterillos Este and surrounded by lush grounds, Monterey del Mar Hotel is Costa Rica's newest boutique hotel on the Central Pacific Coast located between Jacó and Manuel Antonio National Park.

Day 09: Esterillos Beach/ San Jose

After enjoying breakfast, free morning to enjoy the beach, in the afternoon departure to San Jose. Drop the rental car off at the hotel. Overnight at Country Inn and Suites hotel.

Day 10: San Jose/ Flight back home

Breakfast. Transfer to the International Airport for your flight back home
