Day 02: San Jose/ Arenal Enjoy a delicious breakfast. Pick up a Hyundai Tucson 4X4 at your hotel to continue to Arenal Area. The very active Arenal Volcano frequently emits sounds of violent explosions, attended by clouds of gray, brown, and orange gases. Overnight at Arenal Springs Resort , which offers spectacular views of the volcano, Each room are surrounding with exotic gardens, beautiful flowers and many species of birds. These rooms offer either a king size bed or two double beds. Day 03: Arenal/ The best of Arenal After breakfast :Tour highlights, safari float, rafting on Rio Balsa, rain forest walk, Volcan Arenal and see lava and hot springs. Float on the quiet waters of the Peñas Blancas River in an inflatable raft. Our expert safari guide will show you the beautiful flora and fauna of the region. See animals like sloths, monkeys, toucans, crocodiles, turtles, tropical birds, and if you are lucky, you will see a Jesus Christ lizard walk on water.In the early afternoon you will go white-water rafting on the Balsa River. No experience is necessary for those ages 7 to 55. Know how to swim even though life jackets and helmets will be provided.Take a walk through the rainforest below the Arenal Volcano to possibly see monkeys and a variety of birds ending with a refreshing beverage with a magnificent view of the volcano. With luck you will see the flowing lava of Costa Rica´s most active volcano. To end this perfect day, soak in the hot springs with pools of various water temperatures. Day 04: Arenal/ Monteverde Breakfast, departure to Monteverde, our premier cloud forest where you can observer a lot of birds and mammals. Overnight at Cabañas Los Pinos. Hotel Cabañas Los Pinos is located in a surprising eco-touristic destiny, between the Reserve of Santa Elena and Monteverde. The location of the hotel provides easy access for all the activities around the area, such as walks inside the forest, horseback rides, canopy tours, hanging bridges, the frog pond, butterfly gardens and many others. You will have the opportunity to explore the beautiful flora and fauna this unique and amazing cloud forest offers.   In the morning visit to Selvatura Park: Selvatura's Tree Top Walkways consist of a 1.9 mile (approximately 3 kilometer) trail that crosses through the Monteverde Cloud Forest. Here visitors will walk on eight different bridges with various lengths ranging between 150 feet ( 50 meters ) up to 510 feet ( 170 meters ) and altitudes ranging between 36 feet ( 12 meters ) up to 180 feet ( 60 meters ). Each bridge has a width of five feet, the widest bridges in Costa Rica, and also a capacity of up to 80 people per bridge making them both the longest and strongest bridge systems in the Monteverde Cloud Forest. The Tree Top Walkways are suitable for people of all ages. The duration of the hike usually takes between 1.5 and 2 hours. Free afternoon to visit Santa Elena Reserve. Overnight at Cabañas Los Pinos. Day 06: Monteverde/ Manuel Antonio Beach Departure to Manuel Antonio Beach. The tour departs from Punta Uvita Beach and visits the famous Punta Uvita Whale Tale, Isla Ballena, Tres Hermanas Islets and Ventana sea caves. During the tour we search for humpback and pilot whales as well as spinner, bottle nose, and spotted dolphins, which are residents to the Uvita coast. When granted the opportunity, you might see and hear the humpback whales and observe the acrobatic displays of the dolphins. We also visit the coral and rock reefs to snorkel and observe the wonderful marine life at Punta Uvita, Isla Ballena and Tres Hermanas. During the visits to Isla Ballena and Tres Hermanas observe the diversity of pelagic birds.
