Family Vacation #1 Volcanoes and beaches : (07 days/06 nights) -San José-Arenal Volcano-Flamingo Beach-San José

Day 01: San Jose

Upon arrival to Juan Santamaría International airport, our driver will meet and transfer you to San José. Overnight at Best Western Irazu Hotel. Day 02: San Jose/ Arenal Volcano

Breakfast. Full day tour to Arenal area, known for the Costa Rica’s most active volcano. Visit to Sarchi Art Craft Center. Typical lunch included in a restaurant near Arenal Volcano. In the afternoon, visit to Tabacón hot springs, where you can relax in the soothing waters. At evening you will enjoy a splendid buffet dinner at the resort. Overnight at Arenal Volcano Inn, which offers spectacular views from the private balcony of the volcano.

Day 03: Arenal Volcano

Breakfast. Peñas Blancas Safari Float Tour: Enjoy the sights and the sounds of the rainforest and experience its peacefulness as we quietly paddle the Peñas Blancas river.  Monkeys, sloths, iguanas, crocodiles and numerous tropical birds await us. The professional bilingual guide will share with you educational and interesting explanations of the plants and animals we encounter on the float. You will truly appreciate the wonders of Peñas Blancas river and the surrounding rainforest as we travel down the river without a motor, this way you will enjoy the journey quietly rowing and taking photos. Make sure to bring your camera and binoculars on this tour. This is half day tour specially designed for people with limited amount of time. Overnight at Arenal Volcano Inn.

Day 04: Arenal/ Flamingo Beach (North Pacific)

Breakfast. Departure to Flamingo beach. Overnight at Flamingo beach Resort. Day 05: Flamingo Beach

Free time to enjoy the all-inclusive resort: bar, swimming pool, jacuzzi, and the beach. Overnight at Flamingo Beach Resort.

Day 06: Flamingo Beach/ San Jose

Breakfast. Free morning to enjoy the hotel facilities. In the afternoon, departure to San José by shuttle bus. Overnight at Best Western Irazú Hotel

Día 07: San Jose/ Flight back home

Breakfast. Transfer to Juan Santamaria International Airport for your flight back home.
