Itinerary 1: (10D/09N) San Jose- Puerto Viejo beach -Arenal Volcano-Manuel Antonio beach- San Jose  

Day 01: San Jose

Upon your arrival to the International Airport, our driver will pick you up and transfer you to Grano de Oro hotel, situated on a shady street just off Paseo Colon, San Jose’s main thoroughfare, Hotel Grano de Oro is a true oasis, a sanctuary in the heart of the city. Converted from a Tropical Victorian mansion, the 40-room hotel maintains the warmth and comfort of a private home.Hallways lined with period photographs and original art meander through the building and present lush tropical flower arrangements and luxurious plants at every turn. Spanish tile fountains grace intimate atriums, ensuring that one is never far from the soothing melody of falling water. Day 02: San Jose/ Pacuare river rafting/ Puerto Viejo beach

We will pick you up at your hotel and head through Costa Rica’s colonial capital city of Cartago before rising up through the fertile countryside that surrounds the base of Turrialba Volcano. We’ll stop for a delicious traditional Costa Rican breakfast along the way. Once we arrive at the verdant banks of the Pacuare River, our professional guides will instruct you on paddling techniques and safety procedures before you don your helmets, grab you paddles and climb aboard the inflatable rafts for an unforgettable adventure. The Pacuare is a swift flowing river that offers visitors a unique and exciting rafting experience within one of Costa Rica’s most unspoiled wilderness areas. In fact, expert rafters call the Pacuare one of the world’s best white-water runs.  Lunch on the way.  Continue to Puerto Viejo beach on the South Caribbean area.  Overnight at Tree houses Puerto Viejo. The entire Beach house was built with wood from fallen trees. Before the development of the Beach House, we spent several months finding, cleaning and cutting the lumber of fallen trees in the forest. Some of the Nispero trees have been on the ground for more than 10 years. These woods are hard as iron and sink in water! Our woods are pulled out of the jungle by oxen, sometimes over distances more than 5 km. The Beach House was built 80 meters from the shoreline. From your veranda you'll enjoy the most fantastic view on the ocean and botanical gardens.

After breakfast you will have a free day to enjoy the beach, and the area. Overnight at Tree Houses Puerto Viejo.

Day 04: Puerto Viejo beach/ Arenal Volcano

After enjoying breakfast our driver will be waiting for you in order to transfer you to Arenal Volcano area. The Arenal Volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in the Americas. Overnight at Arenal Nayara hotel, this is a brand new hotel with comfort and style while maintaining a close contact with the natural surroundings. With the guests experience in mind, the hotel has built a unique concept of individual bungalows separated by lush tropical plants. Every one of its large suite-size bungalows provides the independent space and privacy that includes a private backyard with an outdoor shower as well as wide glass doors facing the private front balcony.

Day 05: Arenal Volcano National Park and Tabacon Hot Springs

After breakfast you will have a free morning to explore the area. Optional tours: hiking, visit the waterfall, birdwatching tours, and horseback riding are available. In the afternoon you will visit the Arenal Volcano National Park and Tabacon Hot Springs where you can relax at the thermal waters. Buffet dinner included at Tabacon. Overnight at Arenal Nayara hotel.

Day 06: Arenal/ Manuel Antonio beach

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Manuel Antonio Beach, Manuel Antonio National  park is so popular because of its white sand beaches, and there is quite a varied fauna with a lot of species of mammals and birds. Overnight at Mango Moon Resort, perched high on a bluff overlooking the shimmering waters of the Pacific, nestled in a lush tropical rainforest with unparallel ocean and sunset views, you will find a mango kissed hotel that beckons your stay. Mango Moon Intimate Boutique Hotel is located in a pristine area of Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica where monkeys and birds awaken your mornings and the gecko's and sounds of waves lull you to sleep at night.  Day 07: Manuel Antonio beach/ Canopy deck adventure

Day 09: San Jose/ Flight back home

After enjoying breakfast, our driver will transfer you to the International Airport for your flight back home
