Day 01: San Jose

Upon arrival at Juan Santamaria airport, you will be transferred to Alajuela city, only 5 minutes from the International Airport. Overnight at Los Volcanes hotel, which offers the old world ambiance but with modern facilities, the hotel is small and cozy, the house has been refurbished to ensure safety and bring back the true elegance of the 1920´s when that mansion was built. Los Volcanes hotel offers nice rooms with private bathroom, hot water, internet access, local calls and secure and convenient parking area.

Day 02: San Jose/ Arenal

After breakfast pick a Daihatsu Jimny 4X4 up at your hotel. Departure to Arenal Area. The very active Arenal Volcano frequently emits sounds of violent explosions, attended by clouds of gray, brown, and orange gases. Overnight at La Pradera hotel, located at 2 km from La Fortuna, on the way to Arenal Volcano, at 5 min from Tabacon and Baldi Hot Springs. The hotel offers: swimming pool, jacuzzi, restaurant, volcano view in all rooms, 24 hours security, wireless internet, and private parking. Day 03: Arenal/ Monteverde

Breakfast. In the morning, you will drive to Monteverde. Monteverde is the Costa Rica's premier cloud forest. This 26,000-acre reserve is home to an astonishing diversity of plant and animal species. Overnight at Claro de Luna hotel.

Day 04: Monteverde

After breakfast, you will have free time to enjoy the area, we recommend you to visit Santa Elena or Monteverde Reserves and Selvatura Park. Overnight at Claro de Luna hotel.

After enjoying breakfast, departure to Manuel Antonio beach. Although Manuel Antonio National Park is Costa Rica's smallest national park, the breath taking beauty and diversity of wildlife in its 6.83 km² is unequaled with 109 species of mammals and 184 species of birds. Both Three-toed and Two-toed Sloths (perezosos) are a major feature, as are the Mantled Howler Monkey, Central American Squirrel Monkey, and White-headed Capuchin Monkey (feeding them is strictly prohibited). Spiny-tailed Iguanas, Green Iguanas, Basilisks. Dolphins can be observed there, as well as the occasional migrating whale. Overnight at Cabinas Espadilla . Day 06: Manuel Antonio

After breakfast you will have the free day to enjoy the beach, we recommend you to visit Manuel Antonio National Park. Overnight at Playa Espadilla Cabins .

Day 07: Manuel Antonio/ San Jose

Breakfast. Departure to Alajuela. Drop the rental car off at your hotel. Overnight at Los Volcanes hotel.

Day 08: Flight back home

Breakfast and transfer to International Airport for your flight back home.
