Day 01: San Jose

Transfer from Juan Santamaría International Airport to Presidente Hotel. A four-star, 100-room hotel in the heart of Downtown San José, Costa Rica, the Presidente hotel is located on the corner of the Central Avenue Pedestrian Boulevard and Seventh Street, just 20 minutes from the San Jose, Costa Rica International Airport.(SJO). Overnight at Presidente Hotel.

 

Day 02: San Jose/ Arenal

Enjoy a delicious breakfast. Pick up a Daihatsu Bego 4X4 at your hotel. Departure to the Arenal Volcano area. Overnight at Arenal Paraíso Hotel which offers spectacular views of the volcano from the private balcony.

Day 03: Arenal/ Monteverde Cloud Forest

After breakfast departure to Monteverde Cloud Forest. Monteverde is the Costa Rica's premier cloud forest. This 26,000-acre reserve is home to an astonishing diversity of plant and animal species. Overnight at Trapp Family Lodge, the closest lodge to the Monteverde Cloud forest Reserve, a 15 minutes walk, great for bird watching. This cozy new 20-room inn pays tribute to its setting with beautiful tropical wood appointments, private balcony in each guest room, and a family-style restaurant fronted by huge picture windows and a balcony overlooking gardens and verdant rain forest. Day 04: Monteverde Cloud Forest

Breakfast. Free day in Monteverde. Optional tours available (canopy, walkways, horseback riding not included in the rate).  We recommend you to visit Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. Overnight at Trapp Family Lodge.

Day 05: Monteverde/ Rincon de la Vieja National Park

Breakfast.  In the morning departure to Rincón de la Vieja National Park. Rincon de la Vieja, the largest volcano in the country's northwest, comprises a remote volcanic complex in the Guanacaste Range. At least nine eruptive vents are located within a 15-kilometer-wide caldera. The twin cone of 1,916 meter Santa Maria volcano, the highest peak of the Rincon complex, features an incactive crater 500 meters across. Overnight at Hacienda Guachipelin Hotel. The Hacienda borders the popular Rincon de la Vieja National Park. Since 1985, Hacienda Guachipelin has also been hosting a steady flow of visitors, helping them enjoy the natural beauty of the ranch and the neighboring national park, where you will experience volcanic activity as in no other volcano in Costa Rica.

Day 06: Rincon de la Vieja National Park

Breakfast.  Free day in Rincón de la Vieja. Optional tours available.(canyoning, tubing, horseback riding not included in this rate). Overnight at Hacienda Guachipelin hotel.

Day 07: Rincon de la Vieja National Park/ Tamarindo beach

After breakfast departure to Tamarindo Beach one of the most nice beaches in the country. Overnight at Jardin del Eden hotel, a small beach resort and luxury boutique hotel in Tamarindo Beach, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Located on a small hill, 120 meters - 3 minutes walk from the beach;it features a magnificent view of the entire Tamarindo Bay, the number one place to enjoy the Pacific ocean sunset.

Day 08: Tamarindo beach

Breakfast. Free day to enjoy the beach and the area. Overnight at Jardin del Eden hotel.

Day 09: Tamarindo beach/ San Jose

Breakfast. Free morning. Departure to San José area. Drop the rental car off at your hotel. Overnight at Presidente hotel.

Day 10: San Jose/ Flight back

After breakfast our driver will pick you up and transfer you to the International Airport for your flight back home.
